CLIENT:
Swedish clothing company Stay Hard Jeans (it’s a funny name, I know.)
ROLE:
Producer
CHALLENGE:
The Swedish-based company Stay Hard Jeans wanted to create a visceral and exciting series that would play in movie theaters as "mock trailers." They love the look of American Eagle and Abercrombie and Fitch but also wanted to indulge in the humor of their millennial clientele.
SOLUTION:
In collaboration with BZE we set out to create a series of mock trailers advertising a fake movie called “Where’s my pants?!” The idea highlights an exaggerated obsession from our protagonist Max, who hunts internationally for his pair of Stay Hard Jeans amidst a fantastic conspiracy of strange antagonists, friends and unlikely scenarios.
RESULT:
We ended an exciting commercial campaign that lead to a sizable increase in Stay Hard web traffic and ultimately a Nomination for the illustrious European Epica Awards. Swedish directors Kalle Breitholtz and Martin Akerhage kept the series very European in tone but the final product is an internationally accessible parade of caricatures that keeps you laughing regardless of what you actually understand.
